Good Friends!

In August 2009, history was made when the Land of the Bed held its first G3 Summit. Mr Shaun and his Swiss / German delegation braved travelling through France and underneath The Channel to convene with Mr Fox and Mrs PB.

Despite a slight altercation with protestors, the conference had been a complete success with European bean distribution and rolling pin licence agreements settled for the next 5 years.

This summer as the Eurozone crisis deepened, Mr Shaun and company returned!

After the major issues of the day had been debated and Mrs PB had been talked down from expelling everyone apart from herself from the EU, Mr Fox took everyone on an excursion. The press seemed to think sitting together on The Good Friends bench made a fitting photo.

Spitfire!

We’re not really sure we should be showing you this – it’s supposed to be top secret. However, Mrs PB’s made the executive decision to release a preview. Perhaps she never read the “Loose lips sink ships” poster, or maybe she’s hoping for some help.

You see, Mr Fox has acquired a new flying machine and he’s rather fond of it! Mrs PB seems to think it would be amusing to have a photo of him bailing out into the channel. She’d like your help finding some barrage balloons, anti aircraft cannons, and a polar bear sized ME109!

Anyway, we hope you’re excited about Mrs PB trying to shoot Mr Fox down as we are! The costume and prop department have their work cut out. Hopefully we’ll be ready in November. Until then you’ll just have to imagine Mr Fox soaring through the skys in his goggles, scarf, and leather flight jacket.

Do Not Walk on the Gravel

Mr Fox and Mrs PB are now fully paid members of Kew Gardens. Mr Fox and Mrs PB are both very fond of their fauna, but we suspect they both may have ulterior motives for joining. Mr Fox has been spotted reading Peacock Pie recipes recently (Kew has some rather tasty looking specimens), and Mrs PB now has another 300 acres to search through to make sure she’s violated every single sign.

Bear Cupcakes

Mrs PB’s either been very good this week, or she’s found a way to edit her internet history. We’ve not found a single thing derogatory about foxes, just these rather amazing bear cupcakes on The Dying Swans. Maybe if we’re lucky she’ll make them for us too!
